**What you will do**:

- Support and execute the continuous development of the operational risk management framework, policies, methodologies, processes, and standards
- Conduct operational risk assessment workshops
- Advise internal stakeholders (all management levels) on any operational risk matter regarding operational risk identification, assessment, control/mitigation, and monitoring
- Identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, and report operational risks (e.g., material transactions, business cases, projects, new products)
- Support in building up, managing, and analyzing operational risk data to spot trends and issues in need of further analyses or escalation
- Build mutual trusted relationships with all stakeholders

**What you bring & who you are**:

- You hold a University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other related fields; further education in Energy Economics, Operational Risk Management, or similar is an advantage
- You have experience in (energy) trading, (energy) markets, and related organizations, processes, and controls
- You are experienced in data analytics and visualizations
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps is highly desirable
- You possess strong knowledge of operational risk management practices
- You are a thorough and diligent worker, who has strong organizational and prioritization skills and thrives in a dynamic multi-national environment
- You are able to foster effective communication with stakeholders on all levels and build mutually trusted relationships
- You are fluent in English and German; other languages, such as Spanish, Italian, or French, are an advantage

**About the team**:
Our Operational Risk Management Team is looking for a strong individual to support us in further developing and building up the Operational Risk Management at Axpo's Trading & Sales business area. You can expect to work in a dynamic, international, and cross-functional environment that strives to empower an innovative mindset and thus contribute to Axpo's success.
