Unser **Center for Energy** forscht an Lösungen für die Energiesysteme der Zukunft. Das Themenportfolio orientiert sich an drei zentralen Systemen**:Öffentliche Energieversorgungssysteme**, **Industrielle Energiesysteme** sowie **Städte & gebaute Umwelt**.

Für die Führung des Centers mit rund 285 Forschenden und Expert:innen suchen wir eine **Gesamtleitung** in unserem Headquarter in **Wien**:
HEAD (M/W/D) OF CENTER FOR ENERGY
- Sie verantworten die** Entwicklung und Umsetzung der Forschungsstrategie** und die damit verbundene Portfolioentwicklung hinsichtlich geförderter Forschungsprojekte und direkter Beauftragungen aus der Wirtschaft.
- Sie schaffen Optionen zur **wissenschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Verwertung** der Forschungsergebnisse (Publikationen, Patente, Lizenzierungsmodelle, Ausgründungen).
- Sie verantworten die Erreichung der **wissenschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Ziele** des Centers, stärken interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Centern und arbeiten an der Umsetzung der Gesamt-AIT-Strategie mit.
- Sie erweitern kontinuierlich nationale wie internationale **strategische Partnerschaften** mit Industrie, Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen.
- Sie sind verantwortlich für die Führung und Entwicklung der Expert:innen. Sie schaffen ein optimales Umfeld für Forscher:innen, das **Innovation** und **erstklassige Forschungsergebnisse** fördert, **Zusammenarbeit** und **Motivation** stärkt und das Center als Arbeitgeber national wie international attraktiv macht.

**Als Ingenious Partner zeichnet Sie aus**:

- Habilitation oder Habilitationsäquivalenz in einem technisch passenden Wissenschaftsgebiet
- Ausgewiesene Expertise in mindestens zwei der untenstehenden Forschungsbereiche des Centers:

- Integrierte Energiesysteme und Sektorkopplung
- Energiewirtschaft und -logistik
- Elektrische Energieerzeugung und -verteilung (hybride Kraftwerkstechnologien, Integration erneuerbarer Energien und Speichertechnologien)
- Thermische Energietechnik (Wärme
- und Kältenetze, Hochtemperaturwärmepumpen, HVAC Systeme)
- Wasserstofftechnologie (Integration in das Energiesystem, Entwicklung und Test von Elektrolyseuren inkl. Materialentwicklung)
- Elektrische Systemkomponenten und Leistungselektronik für Mittelspannungsanwendungen
- Dekarbonisierung von Städten und effiziente Gebäudetechnologien
- Modellierung, Simulation und Optimierung von elektrischen und thermischen Energiesystemen und -komponenten
- Digitalisierung und Automatisierung von Energiesystemen
- Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung in Technologie-, Forschungs
- oder Industrieunternehmen (Personal
- und Budgetverantwortung)
- Kompetenz in der Leitung internationaler und nationaler Forschungsprogramme sowie von komplexen Forschungs
- und Innovationsprojekten
- Sehr guter Überblick über die relevanten Stakeholder:innen im Energiebereich und ein aktives, internationales Netzwerk
- Wertschätzende und respektvolle Kommunikation und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Fließende Deutsch
- und Englischkenntnisse

**Was Sie erwarten können**:
Das Bruttojahresgehalt beginnt bei EUR 160.000;
- als Minimum. Das tatsächliche Gehaltsgesamtpaket wird entsprechend Ihrer Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen individuell festgelegt. Mit der Option für **Voll
