Gas Chromatography Specialist Recycling Division

**What you will enjoy doing**:

- Development of testing methods for selected substances in rPET and rHDPE material and implementation across the recycling plants
- Support of local recycling plants and coordination of all relevant activities related to GC methods as well as daily trouble-shooting
- Perform daily measurements of products and coordination of samples including the documentation and communication of results
- Monitoring of competitor products and comparison with our portfolio
- Support of customer approvals including documentation and sampling for customers
- Cooperation in various projects to bring in the GC know-how
- Development of management stems for the recycling plants and assist during implementation of additional quality or management standards
- Perform IMS audits for recycling plants and cooperation with the plants to define the corrective actions

**What makes you great**:

- You have a university degree in chemistry/science or equivalent experience
- You have in-depth technical knowledge of gas chromatography instrumentation and associated software
- You impress with strong technical problem solving skills and an aptitude for fixing equipment/software issues
- You are passionate to teach others
- You are fluent in English and display a good command of German
- Your MS Office and GC software skills are advanced
- A high level of commitment, a strong motivation to push recycling activities at ALPLA
- Willingness to travel to our production plants around the world round off your profile
