Continuing this trend in strategic innovation, this exciting position offers the opportunity to lead the growth of Data & Analytics (D&A) into a Group-wide, high-impact business capability to achieve significant top-line growth.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the growth of D&A capabilities across Erste Group
- Prioritize implementation of business opportunities with highest top-line potential and initiate co-development in close collaboration with all banks within Erste Group
- Creation of transparency on existing D&A business opportunities and solutions to significantly improve the collaboration between stakeholders
- Propose data science-based solutions to business problems, translate business needs in technical D&A requirements and data science results to business language and implications
- Function as team builder & manager
- Step-by-step build-up of D&A resources & capabilities

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in leading and managing international teams, ideally within an advanced analytics content
- Experience in developing D&A strategies and implementing a D&A vision
- Deep experience in advanced analytics, especially as a tool to drive business results. Thorough understanding of data science (methods & algorithms, ability to steer, understand and challenge the date science team) and understanding of technology (data science tools, IT architecture components, development processes)
- Good understanding of banking business along the value chain, and across product lines
- Proven business drive (P&L experience desirable) and proven track record in working together with the C-Suite
- Fluent in English, proficiency in German or other CEE languages is desirable
