Head of Department Aps Production and Testing

Manage and control the APS production and testing department by ensuring required resources, priority settings and by driving problem solving

Ensure on in-time delivery for all customers (IMS-Operations, -Service, -RND), maintain a steady workflow while rising production rates to fulfill demands

Develop the APS production leadership teams and individual team members to ensure flexibility, knowledge and high quality standards in the production process. That means selection, development, goal setting and performance management for the department.

(Co-)develop long term strategy and ensure resources for long term based on forecasts

Driving production related escalations internally and externally to secure production goals and quality;

Run KPIs on the performance and initiate structural improvements where necessary;

Supporting and the leading continuous improvement projects within the organization to increase performance

You meet agreed production targets within following target areas (people, safety, quality, on time delivery and flexibility)

Bachelor or Master Degree, BSc or MSc (e.g. Engineering, Production Management);

Good general technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, material science, physics;

Experience in production management in a complex working environment;

Experience in Lean or continuous Improvement (operational excellence)

Experience as a manager for at least two years

Languages: German and English
