At the Centre for Translation Studies, Prof. Risku is looking for a research fellow (post doc) for the FWF research project "Rethinking translation expertise: A Workplace Study" (Retrex). The applicant should have interest in the socio-cognitive and situated aspects of translation, in cognitive ethnography and workplace research of translation.
The extent of employment can be agreed variably within the framework of project funding (20-40 hours/week)
Participation in research and project management:
- Participation in the research project "Rethinking Translation Expertise" (Retrex) financed by FWF
- Planning and implementation of empirical data acquisition at workplaces, qualitative analysis of data
- Participation in publications and presentations
- Involvement in the organisation of meetings and conferences
- Involvement in the activities of the research group socotrans (socio-cognitive translation studies) Participation in research and project management:
- Participation in the research project "Rethinking Translation Expertise" (Retrex) financed by FWF

- Participation in publications and presentations
