**Details of the Volunteers for International Experience (VIE) program**:

- _Assignments are open for citizens of European Union countries between _**_18 and 28 years_**:

- **_Never have worked in Austria_**:

- _Assignment lasts from _**_12 to 24 months_**_, renewable once within a cumulative limit of 24 months_
- _Compensation (non-taxable) linked to the cost of living index and set by Business France: _**_2 820,67 € _**_per month in Austria (update 1st of January 2024)_
- _Set up by public sector statute in France, managed by the Business France organization_
- _International social protection is extended to eligible parties_
- _2.5 days of holiday per month_

To support our procurement team we are looking for a dedicated and motivated **Indirect Buyer** to join us in our location in **Vienna, Austria**.

**Your Role**:
Set up a full supplier selection process
- Prepare and launch of Request for Quotation with Alstom-approved suppliers
- Monitor Procurement project QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Technology) & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
- Prepare Business Award
- Promote & respect the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Ensure the on-time delivery and quality are secured especially during the ramp-up phase of the project

Support commodity strategy
- Consolidate the commodity needs, inputs
- Participate actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions
- Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving
- Prepare training materials for current and updated processes
- Oversee purchasing and invoicing processes

Build Supplier relationship
- Support global supplier panel relationship
- Manage specific supplier panel relationships (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
- Measure the supplier's performance and develop them in coordination with supplier Quality Team
- Assess properly all risky suppliers and manage the associated mitigation plan
- Monitor Corporate Social Responsibility engagements and deviations

Performance measurements: on savings, non-conformities event, on-time delivery and panel situation supplier compliance status rate

**Competencies & Skills**:

- Master's degree in Business Management preferably in Purchasing
- A professional background in sourcing/sales is strongly recommended
- Willing to communicate with high stakeholders and collaborate in an international environment
- Teamwork with various people and different departments
- Ability to challenge, convince and negotiate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Rigorous and structured
- Fluent in English, German and/or French is a plus
