Innovation Controller

We are currently looking for a motivated Innovation controller (M/F/d) in 1210 Vienna.

***:

- Define a set of minimum requirements for a Product Innovation Business Case before start of a Product Development project (Volume / price / margin / strategic criteria /).
- Monitor and quality-check Product Innovation Business Cases from Market teams before Steercom meetings (before project start and ongoing projects) transition from ideaphase to project phase up until market launch.
- Challenge Business Cases based on plant input factors and market estimates (cost / volume / margin /) in alignment with HQ- & Plant Controlling.
- Set-up a regular Innovation project portfolio “Clean-up” activity with Sales MDs or Head of BU / Plant MDs / CTL to ensure a focused product portfolio based on clear KPIs and margins.
- Secure a consistent and easy to understand set of Innovation KPI to measure Innovation success per project / per department / per product class and overall and to advice the Innovation & Market Teams on needed counter measures if needed.
- Communicate KPIs to defined Innovation teams on a regular basis and actively propose needed measures - ideally automated through the toolset.
- Consolidate and supervise the yearly Innovation & Product Development department budget.
- Ensure the monitoring and supervision of the project specific innovation budgets, targets and KPI’s of the Innovation & Product Development department.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Successfully completed studies in one of the fields of business administration, business informatics or technology / innovation management or equivalent qualification with work experience
- experience in the field of detailed business analysis, analysis of data in order to draw business-relevant conclusions
- experience in the field of commercial and operational controlling and reporting incl. key figure analysis and department specific KPI definition, ideally in the field of Innovation Controlling
- enthusiasm for technology and an interest in understanding of data and corresponding possible fields of improvement and an open innovative mindset
- distinct analytical and conceptual competence as well as entrepreneurial and holistic thinking for an stringent and at the same time agile controlling approach for Product Innovation
- Computer skills:

- MS Office, ERP finance / controlling system
- Sprachkenntnisse:

- Excellent English skills (C-Level) and German desirable

For this position, depending on specific qualifications and adequate professional experience, an annual salary starting at € 55,000 gross all in is offered. Willingness to overpay depending on your individual profile and professional experience.
