Research Laboratory Scientist - Department of Cancer Cell Signaling (f/m/d) - 18-months fixed term-223755

**THE POSITION**

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Independent planning, coordination, execution, analysis and documentation of in vitro experiments
- Continuous development and optimization of in vitro methods and techniques with a focus on target validation using tissue culture systems
- Supporting the discovery and characterization of novel cancer targets and small molecule-based therapeutic approaches with in vitro expertise
- Working in a multi-disciplinary team

**Requirements**:

- A degree in biology/biochemistry or equivalent (M.S. or Ph.D.)
- Prior experience with the manipulation and analysis of tissue culture cells, e.g. by antibody based methods such as FACS or immunoblots
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques, such as Cas9/CRISPR, RNA interference or lentiviral transduction
- Ability to independently plan, execute, evaluate and document experiments
- Team orientation with good communication skills

For this position we offer an interesting salary package considering your expertise and personal competencies as well as your professional experience. We are obliged by law to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement, which amounts to € 37,756.32 gross per year (full-time) for this position, whereby an overpayment is possible.
