In this position, you actively drive a customer centric culture - ensuring close collaboration with our customers and a value adding sales approach through which we quantify and demonstrate why we’re the top choice when doing business. By developing our service offerings and market leading products, and by driving the strategic agenda of our digital and automated solutions, you unlock significant value for the organization and our stakeholders. With an understanding of the power of open collaboration, you foster a culture based on teamwork and the Sandvik core values, both within the division and across the business area.

You continue to establish growth in our business, both organically and by mergers and acquisitions, and you formulate and implement a growth strategy focusing on geographical regions and products segments in line with customer and market demands. As an active member of the Business Area management team, you are an engaged, motivating and communicative leader, acting in accordance with our leadership model. You’re fully accountable for the profit and loss statement of the division and for driving strategic initiatives in our high performing organization. You are the responsible host manager for two Sales areas covering Southern Europe, Middle East, Northern Africa, Central Asia and China.

The location for this position is Zeltweg, Austria and you report to the President of Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions.

**Profile**:
You have strategic leadership skills and a solid background from general management, including previous accountability for profit and loss statements, in a complex and global business. Extensive experience from managing sales, marketing and business development in different markets is necessary to succeed in this position, and experience from manufacturing processes and supply chain management is a true advantage. You have relevant knowledge of the mining and construction business, and this enables you to be an exceptional coach for all members of our management team. To perform well in our diverse setting, you also need a highly developed multi-cultural understanding and a proven track record of successful execution and delivery according to plan. As we operate globally, advanced English skills is a requirement.
