**About the role**:

- LIMS Data Specialist helps deliver Takeda’s commitments for patient Safety, Product quality and data integrity by ensuring the set-up, maintenance, and harmonization of master data records in the new global Laboratory Information Management System (=LIMS). The LIMS Data Specialist also drives and sustains improvements to master data records and processes for implementing them.
- Maintain master data at global level and provide guidance for master data set-up for existing and new methods, areas, etc..
- Support Global LabWare improvement projects

**How you will contribute**:

- Set-up and maintenance of master data records in the new global Laboratory Information Management System (=LIMS)
- Support harmonization of data base records (Products, Methods, etc.) across the global network of manufacturing.
- Support the creation and maintenance of documents like procedures, job aids and training documents for the new global Laboratory Information Management System (=LIMS)
- Drive improvement in the network, specifically support the overseeing of LIMS master data set ups to efficiently support and align the business

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- Higher School Certificate, Scientific/Engineering/IT degree or at least 3 years of work experience in data management of electronic systems.
- Interest or background in IT and/or data governance, IT systems.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
- Basic understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11 and related regulations preferred.
- First experience with Laboratory Information Management System preferred.
- Independent work, organizational thinking, critical judgment
- Ability to assess processes and workflows to determine opportunities for improvement. Team-oriented, cooperative, communicative, conflict resolution skills, flexible, reliable.
