Job Purpose: Job Outline: - Assist the Country Manager/Commercial Manager in maintaining optimum tariffs in the respective market to enable the sales force to achieve their respective given revenue targets in accordance with the company’s Commercial objectives. Provide and maintain a comprehensive office back-up system as related to pricing/tariffs and sales support in order to have an effective and integrated sales effort. - Prepare Corporate, Leisure, VFR and Inclusive Tours tariffs, incentive agreements and other related circulars as required by the travel agencies or commercial accounts. - Co-ordinate all matters relating to the collation and maintaining of competitor pricing and tariff information and any tactical initiatives. Provide monthly summary reports of competitors’ activity including market share assessments and forward trends. Make recommendations on factors including but not limited to seasonality, peak season surcharges, blackouts, special events, as necessary to achieve revenue targets with optimum yields on a route by route basis. - Ensure all internal and external stakeholders are briefed on pricing/tariff changes together with any marketing or tactical sales initiatives. - Liaise with HQ Revenue Optimisation to obtain the approvals to achieve revenue and yield objectives, providing support analysis and competitor information as necessary. Prepare and make the appropriate tariff filing to obtain the necessary approvals to pursue the EK marketing and sales objectives. - Plan, execute and monitor various sales activities, sale functions, special events, roadshows and product trainings, liaising with external agencies and HQ corporate communications as required. - Ensure an awareness of industry technological advances and changes, in particular the creative use of GDS’s, the internet and any other distribution systems. Provide monthly reports on industry distribution methods and make appropriate recommendations relevant to the market. - Prepare and analyze BI data such as development of market shares by route, BSP analysis, forward booking and flown reports. Support the management by providing data based on business needs and preparing action plans and business cases. - Work with GDS, revenue management and CRM software
Qualifications & Experience: - ‘Advanced’ level of education - Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Pricing and/or Business Intelligence data - Computer literate with Advanced proficiency in MS Applications - Excellent analytical skills with proven ability to analyse data and prepare analytical reports, covering market shares and trends. - Fluent in written and spoken German and English. - Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in Austria. The Company will not provide assistance with obtaining work permits.
