We are looking for a Manager Flight Standards (M/F/d) in full-time or part-time. Your homebase will be our headquarter at Vienna or Cologne Airport. The position “Manager Flight Standards (M/F/d) is nominated by and reports to the Nominated Person Flight Operations.

Salary

For this position, we offer an attractive salary that matches your qualifications and experience. The monthly gross salary for the profile described is at least EUR 3.800 (14x). An overpayment is possible, especially with relevant professional experience and special qualifications.
Tasks

**The duties of this position are as follows**:
Defines the processes and procedures required for flight operations
Guides and monitors the services performed by the AOCs operations departments or those delegated to suppliers or external contractors
Liaises with the authority in all matters affecting the AOC and ensuring compliance with the AOC terms and conditions as well as with all current flight ops regulations
Prepares and conducts internal and external audits
Closely follows aviation development to achieve operational improvement concerning quality, as well as economy, with mandatory and recommended operating practices
Sets, monitors and controls operational standards of efficiency, safety, security, and training; ensures that the adequate support services are available as needed for an efficient flight operation

**Requirements**:
Successfully completed university degree in aviation management or relevant professional experience
Active or (temporary) suspended pilot license (CPL/MPL/ATPL)
Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g. EASA, IOSA, Austrian/Maltese aviation law)
Experience in rulemaking, audit processing and process development
Independent drive to question and improve processes and procedures
High ability to work in a team, solution driven, and company minded
Ability to work out operational solutions and to seek compromises
Structured and accurate working attitude
Very good MS-Office user knowledge
Office Management experience
Excellent written and communication skills in English (German is desirable)
High stress resistance and operational readiness
Nationality EU/EFTA
Unlimited valid passport
