Erste Asset Management coordinates and is responsible for all asset management activities of Erste Group and is in charge of assets amounting to more than EUR 76 billion. More than 400 employees develop and manage investment solutions for our investors in 7 different countries. We place sustainability at the heart of our business activities. We have managed our environmental equity fund in cooperation with WWF Austria since 2006 and we also base our own actions on sustainable criteria.

As part of the Investment Division, the Fixed Income department manages all investments and fund solutions for government and corporate bonds within developed and emerging markets. In cooperation with the Responsible Investments department Fixed Income also offers sustainably managed products.

Your Tasks
develop investment strategies within the guidelines of the investment process
improve tools and models to analyze fixed income markets, issuers and issues
make bottom-up qualitative credit analysis of selected distressed debt issuers
monitor funds' position weights and risk analytics compared to investment universes and targets
execute cash management
trading of fixed income and foreign exchange instruments
prepare presentations and join our sales teams in investment advisory committees or pitches
enhance our international fund management processes and foster further ESG integration
contribute to internal and external publications (e.g. blogs, interviews,)
work on assigned projects
Your Background
bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, business, business law, accounting, finance or technical degree with strong focus on finance
additional respective qualifications like CEFA or CFA would be an asset
excellent Microsoft Office skills, programming expertise (VBA, R or Python) is an advantage
high analytical capability and a precise style of working
fluent in German and English
high presentation and communication skills
work experience within the financial services industry like portfolio/fund management or research would be advantageous

The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 36.555,26 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person
