**What you will do**_ _
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future Scientific Experts, medical societies & study groups
- Develop and implement medical engagement plans in defined geographic territory and in alignment with other relevant internal functions
- Discuss up-to-date scientific topics, clinical outcomes and patient benefits with Scientific Experts and other relevant stakeholders like hospital pharmacists
- Gather and process relevant (medical) insights from external interactions
- Gain knowledge and understand trial and referral networks in given indication
- Give medical/scientific presentations at Amgen and/or 3rd party educational meetings
- Implement and facilitate medical/scientific educational meetings and advisory boards
- Support Therapeutic Area Head & Medical Advisor in developing local medical plans, in line with local and global strategy
- Attend & support national and international congresses
- Cooperate with clinical study team regarding study feasibility, site selection and site engagement as needed
- Support Amgen Sponsored Trials, Observational Research and Investigator Sponsored Studies
- Identify new collaboration opportunities
- Deliver internal trainings for selected topics and to relevant audience as needed
- Comply with all relevant internal processes, external laws and regulations

**What we expect of you**
- Degree in Natural Sciences (e.g. PhD, MSc, MD)
- Fluency in German and English, both in oral and written communication
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry or in academia
- Expertise in the therapeutic area and related indications preferred
- Basic understanding of the country local health care system
- Experience in the conduct of scientific research, interpretation and communication of scientific results and publications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Sound project management and IT skills
- Willingness to travel locally on regular basis and internationally as needed
- Proactivity to continuously develop knowledge and capabilities
- Team-spirit and open-mindedness
