**at **the **Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law**

The Department of Innovation and Digitalization in Law (working area Univ.Prof. Dr. Iris Eisenberger) has a vacancy for a University Assistant (prae doc). The employment is initially limited to 1.5 years and will be automatically extended to a total of 4 years unless the employer submits a declaration of non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months.

**Duration of employment**: 4 year/s

**Extent of Employment**: 30 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
- Own teaching and research activities in the field of public law and innovation - independent teaching of courses to the extent of the provisions of the collective agreement; own research with the aim of publishing nationally and internationally; dissertation (conclusion of a dissertation agreement within the first 12-18 months of employment is expected).
- Support in academic operations - support of the professorship (Public Law and Innovation) in the field of research and teaching
- Administrative support - contributing to student support and examination activities; contributing to institute administration and evaluation activities and quality assurance; general support with research and administrative activities at the institute.

**Profile**:
Completed law degree; interest in public law, especially in the field of innovation law; motivation to write a dissertation in this area; excellent written and spoken German and English; ability and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team; independent and structured approach; good organizational skills. Good IT skills (at least MS Office) necessary.
