**A Snapshot of Your Day**

As sourcing manager for Heat Recovery Steam Generators /boiler systems in international proposal and execution teams and withinternational suppliers you will control and coordinate the fulfillment of thecontractual requirements by the respective contractors within the project withthe focus on budget, quality, safety, performance, and schedule requirements.

You are an integral part of the company’s supply chainmanagement community and stay in contact with Engineering, Site Erection,Project Management, Sales/ Proposals, Logistics, Regional Units, internationalprocurement organizations and sourcing hubs as well as with Suppliers,consultants, legal advisors, benchmarking partners.

In this role, you collaborate with the Project Manager HRSG and you will direct, lead and motivate your supplier tosuccessfully fulfill the contractual requirements and obligations.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- You will impact the success of the projects with your engagementfor cost, quality, and time schedule for proposal and/or execution projects,mainly driven by supplier and contract management activities.
- Support of cost calculations for HRSG / boiler systems in proposaland/or execution projects is your daily business.
- As sourcing manager, you will evaluate the commercial partof the customer contract, prepare commercial contract conditions and commercialinquiry documents using the standard documents of Siemens Energy.
- You will compile the request for quotationdocuments for the contractor together with PM HRSG and support theevaluation and comparison of incoming offers.
- Contract negotiation and Contract management until contractsignature is within your responsibility.
- As sourcing manager, you are responsible for controlling andcoordinating the fulfillment of contractor’s time schedules, quality, and costsas well as review of contractor’s commercial documentation. You will alsosupport PM HRSG and commercial project management in reviewing invoices.
- You develop / maintain appropriate global commodity /component strategies and ensure their implementation.

**What You Bring**
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering orsimilar College degree.
- Expert knowledge in Supply Chain Management, drafting of contractsusing international commercial contract conditions and experience in powerplant execution and contractor management.
- Negotiating skills and experience in handling of differentnegotiating techniques
- Support the organization with your knowledge as commercialspecialist with experience in Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) systems inan EPC (Engineering, Procurement/Fabrication, Erection /Commissioning) environment.
- Self-motivation with high energy drive, business sense andcapability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuringa high-quality work process and willingness for business travels withinternational contacts.
- Excellent English and German skills.
- Capability to work in (virtual) international teams and withinternational suppliers within intercultural environments.
- Experience with document and data management tools
