In this role, based in Eggelsberg, Austria, you will be responsible for carrying out reliable and timely analysis of monthly financial results, budgets and forecasts for operational activities and providing support to key business partners and managers in decision-making processes. In addition, you will work on projects to further develop the area of Value Chain Controlling. You will work very closely with the Operations and Supply Chain Management teams as well as colleagues from Finance and Controlling. Does this sound like your dream job?

**Your responsibilities**:

- Advising and supporting management regarding operational activities and Supply Chain Management with managerial and financial matters by preparing analyses and decision-making documents (business partnering)
- Carrying out operational planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Handling production, investment and purchasing controlling
- Completing management reporting and analyses
- Further developing processes, systems and tools
- Providing internal consulting related to deriving and optimizing potential as well as monitoring improvement measures
- Handling controller activities in individual projects
- Providing commercial insights and analysis results, identifying underlying trends and challenging business units to increase their performance
- Taking responsibility for the preparation of accurate and timely management reports
- Taking responsibility for managing the performance of the business, including identifying and reporting KPIs that link to operational strategy and drive positive action
- Ensuring the integrity of financial data shared with other business units, within ABB and with external stakeholders

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or relevant work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of business processes at a manufacturing company
- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
- Very strong analytical skills and an eye for details required
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, and other languages, especially German, are an advantage
- Interest in collaborative teamwork
- Good sense of internal group/company processes and the business context
