**Head Supply Chain (f/m/d), Vienna, Austria**

In this role you will develop, implement and be accountable for CPO Supply Chain strategic, tactical, and operational plans to optimize supply chain results. You will promote clear decisions for optimal availability of medicine and products, minimizing working capital and costs without compromising quality and regulatory requirements. At the same time, you will define and implement changes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and compliance for the data and process standards and lead the related business transformation activities.**Your key responsibilities**:

- Ensure governance of Supply Chain processes and align the related role’s key accountabilities with global Supply chain directions and procedures. Understand and follow the global integrated supply chain processes and ensure smooth interface with Novartis Supply Chain management
- Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities in supply chain. Provide strategic input to short
- and medium-term business plans. Ensure collection of forecasting data and its consolidation and proper projection
- Provide financial volume projections of inventory to supplement decision-making, and present the implications to the business.
- Control the warehouse and distribution budget and find opportunities for effective operations
- Achieve best possible stock levels in times of site transfers, changes in product and product launching
- Act as main contact point to our customers regarding supply status and replenishment of goods
- Ensure deliveries on time to our customers as well as channel management execution to serve our patient needs
- Drive performance management process within the team. Monitor 3 PL’s operations activities and ensure high customer service level

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- University degree in Supply Chain Management / Economics / Finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial capacity as Head of Supply Chain/ Logistics Manager from Pharmaceuticals/ Food/ FMCG
- People leadership and direct reports' development experience
- Proven track of continuous improvement and change management experience
- Proficiency level of English (required), German (advantage)
- High social and cultural adaptability skills
- Strong communication skills and networking abilities

For this position the minimum salary is € 66.526/year (on a full time basis).
