**POSTDOC POSITION (F/M/X)**

(full-time, 40h per week)

In the IQOQI research group “_superconducting quantum circuits”_ led by Dr. Gerhard Kirchmair:
**Main tasks**:

- Design, build and characterize traveling wave parametric amplifiers
- Analysis of experimental results and the writing of scientific publications
- Tutoring of PhD, bachelor and master students
- Attendance of workshops and conferences with poster presentations and talks
- Support of the group with administrative tasks
- Collaborate with other members of the TurePa consortium

**Your profile**:

- PhD degree in physics with excellent academic record
- Experience with design and characterization of parametric amplifiers and/or superconducting circuits
- Experience with experimental techniques to characterize superconducting circuits like cryostats and

microwave setups
- Practical cleanroom and micro fabrication experience such as electron beam lithography, metal evaporation

and wet chemistry
- Experience in data analysis and numerical techniques for simulating quantum dynamics
- Strong background in quantum optics, and superconducting circuits
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Ability to work in a team and to present scientific results to the community
