**Job Description**:
We are looking for a **Software Domain Engineering Manager (DEM)** to join our **New Business Incubator domain** to support our initiatives and Projects within the New Digital Department.
As our Domain Engineering Manager, reporting to the **Director of Engineering**, you are committed to driving efficient product delivery on time & within budget and guiding the professional growth of your team members while actively contributing to shaping a robust technical direction for our products. Your goal is to foster excellence, support career development, ensure processes are followed and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
As our **Software Domain Engineering Manager,** you embrace the following **responsibilities**:
- ** Product Vision and Strategy**: Contributing to defining the product vision and strategy, considering people, process, product, and capacity aspects.
- ** Domain Growth**: You direct the accountability and guidance of software engineers to design and develop software, meeting production requirements.
- Manager of Managers: You manage a team of Team Leads in various ways, including performance reviews and constant feedback.
- ** Knowledge Sharing and Experience**: You promote sharing product domain expertise across the teams and ensure the proper team skillset composition within my product area domain.
- ** People Care**: You create a psychologically safe environment for your product domain teams.
- ** Team Retention and Expansion**: You ensure the recruitment, management and growth of engineering talent required
- ** Delivery and Continuity**: You ensure continuous delivery and stability within your product domain.
- ** Budget and Efficiency**: You control the cost for your product domain (infrastructure and development).
- ** Capacity Planning**: You ensure your teams have the necessary resources and skills by supporting your Engineering Manager, collaborating with your director, understanding the workload, and identifying potential bottlenecks for successful project delivery.
- ** Technical excellence**: You promote technical excellence within your teams and the company.
Specifically, you play a crucial role in the are of new Digital services, ensuring the team delivering an innovative and scalable product.

- Veterinary search
- Veterinary online consultation
- Veterinary collaboration

**Qualifications**:
- Strong software engineering & design fundamentals with extensive former hands-on design & development experience (8+ years within software development practices)
- Very familiar with distributed architecture and cloud-based solution
- Very used to working with multi-country base teams.
- Strong communication skills & people management
- Strong experience in leading managers in a matrix organisation
- Many years of practice in the requirement life cycle
- Very familiar with software platforms and commercial service operations and practices, including a 24x7 support approach and incident resolution.
- Familiar with and used to leading stakeholder management rituals such as OpsCo, SteerCo, and Budget planning.
- An extensive and recent contribution to process, Agile and Lean fundamentals
- Several here in e-commerce business
- Proven track record building teams that focus on impact, technical excellence, and transparency.
- Data driven in decision making.
- Lead from the front and ready to roll up their sleeves to help your team in any way.
- Excellent, transparent, and efficient communication skills within the team and across the organisation
