System Tester (f/m/x)
As a System Tester you have to check that all components of our safety critical product, the Operational Management Center (OMC; in German: Betriebsführungszentrale, BFZ), fit together and are operating smoothly. This cloud-based, containerized solution is a highly available system with multiple redundant instances and the backbone of the operations of the Austrian State Railway to guarantee a safe and frictionless travel of millions of train passengers.

Your CHALLENGE- Review of requirements to define the test strategy / test cases accordingly- Definition, execution and reporting of system-, integration
- and performance tests in a complex environment- Maintenance of our test environment (HW/SW, installation, configuration)- Definition and creation of needed test documentation- Identification and implementation of improvements- Close cooperation with development, quality assurance, operations and project management
Your PROFILE- Completed education (HTL, FH, University) preferably in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Railway Engineering or similar- ~ 5 years of relevant experience and expertise on test design onsystem and integration level- Practical experience with Java, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes or similar- Experience in tools for requirements, test
- and defect management- ISTQB certification like technical Test Analyst is a plus- Knowledge about test automation on different levels is a plus- Experience in agile methodology is an advantage- Fluency in English and a good level of German- Innovative, adaptable and customer-oriented team player
We OFFER- The salary for this position ranges from € 53.000 to € 65.000 gross p.a.
