**Project Overview**:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

**What you bring**:

- Receives direction from, and communicates daily with the Lead Indirects Superintendent
- Responsible for field construction operations within assigned discipline or area.
- Determines workforce requirements. Coordinates established area operational plans. Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft. Monitors work activities and ensures the quality of work performed.
- Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. Understands and predicts future needs in designated work areas to avoid rework.
- Approves craft professional time records using established automated tools.
- Prepares reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, staffing forecasts, and expenditures forecast.
- Monitors tool usage on the site. Prepares Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
- Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
- Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas and clients’ resident representatives, as instructed by construction management and Scaffold Superintendent
- Ensures that Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility. Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of construction operations. Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.

**About you**:

- Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation.
- Prior experience on construction projects.
- Knowledge of Bechtel’s Zero Accident Philosophy.
- Knowledge of the Project ES&H Handbook, the Supervisors ES&H Manual, the Project Safety Management Plan and the Bechtel Core Processes.
- Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning: able to prioritize and balance short-term and long-term priorities.
- Knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs).
- Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment.
- Knowledge of the use of subcontracts, and the contractor and subcontractor’s responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.
- Experience working with, supervising and administering subcontractors and/or Direct Hire workforce.
- A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or
- Specialized courses in construction technology and management, and/or
- Prior practical work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above.

**Additional Information**
- The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products - i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site_

**This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.**
