**Job Description**:
- The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Team is responsible for multidisciplinary engineering organization tasked with leading quality and reliability holistically across the Azure platform. One of our responsibilities is to meet the 99.99% up time.
- This role, Manager Site Reliability Engineering, will be responsible for overall operational efficiency & improve customer experience on Dragon Medical One Azure Platform & services. This role will also be responsible for building and mentoring Site Reliability Engineering team.
- This requires working effectiveness under pressure, broad technical, analytical, and problem-solving expertise, ability to confidently collaborate with varied partners, and great written and spoken communication.
- Responsibilities- As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, you are responsible for leading Site Reliability Engineering team to maintain systems health.-
- Engage, influence, and evangelize SRE practices with development, operational and product groups to align technology service/solution delivery.-
- Drive quality accountability within the organization with well-defined processes, metrics, and goals for process quality. This includes leading effective postmortems and ensuring actions are followed-up.Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation and other non-functional systems requirements.-
- Must be able to define and report "progress" on strategic initiates and project level tasks to all stakeholders including senior executives, clients and use effective communication approaches with each constituency.-
- Play an effective technical Product Owner managing scrum team-
- You are also responsible for building and evolving the practice of Site Reliability Engineering across Azure platform.- Qualifications- Must be technically literate and be able to articulate technical issues in a meaningful way to both engineers and management level management.-
- Strong communication skills (both verbally and in a written form), organized, attention to details, analytical, and problem-solving-
- Effectively & fluently communicate and coordinate across multiple organizations.-
- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.-
- Crisis management skills: able to set priorities, pursue multiple threads at the same time, accurately reflect current state and drive towards desired state.-
- Working effectiveness under pressure, broad technical, analytical, and problem-solving expertise, ability to confidently collaborate with varied partners, and great written and spoken communication-
- Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations; demonstrated leadership skills under fast-paced, highly dynamic situations.-
- Strong design, scripting, problem solving and debugging skills.-
- Strong collaboration skills: working across teams and organizations is necessary to be successful.-
- Experience managing complex projects spanning multiple teams and organizations.-
- Software/System Engineering/Solution Development experience-
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP or similar cloud computing platforms-
- Must be able to participate in a multi-location on-call rotation.-
- 12+ Years of experience in Information Technology and minimum 5 years of experience leading team- Qualifications- B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant work experienceNuance offers a compelling and rewarding work environment.
