Credit Risk Portfolio in the Risk Division ensures the execution of Erste Group’s, Erste Holding’s and Erste Bank Österreich’s Credit Risk Strategy through portfolio steering and control as well as to constantly optimize the credit decision process by designing and implementing fit for purpose and digital supporting solutions. Within Credit Risk Portfolio, the department Underwriting Processes is responsible for corporate risk policies and procedures along the credit process, the optimization of corporate credit processes and the operative monitoring of credit risk. ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) is one of the deepest but almost exciting transformation of the banking industry and we in the bank proactively engage in incorporating ESG into our risk assessment and credit approval processes and standards. We are looking to strengthening our resources here with you

**Your Tasks**:

Active alignment and communication with stakeholders outside of Credit Risk Portfolio on the ESG relevant topics in responsibility of Credit Risk Portfolio
- Further develop and maintain ESG tools for the credit underwriting process, in particular digital solutions for ESG risk assessments, incl. ESG data sourcing (CO2 emissions actual and plans of our clients, external ESG ratings, etc.)
- Support Credit Risk Models in implementing a framework to incorporate ESG into rating systems and integration into relevant processes
- Design, implement and run new ESG solutions for collaterals and real estate valuations incl. physical risk assessment, as well as needed data sourcing processes and tools
- Automatize and coordinate data contributions to Carbon Calculations (financials, collaterals, single clients) incl. required IT interfaces

**Your Background**:

- Strong interest in ESG related topics and the way they transform business in the future, any ESG experience in practice highly welcome
- Min. 5 years of experience in banking and/or consulting with a good understanding of credit risk management / underwriting processes, experience with managing international and cross-functional programs and projects
- Strong analytical skills, the capacity to analyze problems and translate into implementation initiatives
- High degree of personal responsibility and accountability
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills with strong ability to motivate and convince
- Full professional proficiency in English, very command of German language of advantage
