The Institute for Innovation and Digitalisation in Law, Section Professor Iris Eisenberger, has a vacancy for a university assistant (prae doc) from April 2023. The position is a temporary replacement until 23 July 2023, with the Option for prolongation.

The position is vacant for the period of absence of a member of staff.

**Extent of Employment**: 30 hours/week

Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Support of the professorship (Public Law and Innovation) in the area of research, teaching and administration; participation in student supervision and examination activities; participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement; participation in the administration of the institute and in evaluation measures as well as in quality assurance; general support in scientific and organisational tasks of the institute; if applicable, own teaching activities in the area of Public Law and Innovation; work on an existing dissertation or development of a dissertation project.

**Profile**:
Degree in law;
Experience in the field of public law;
Interest in the field of innovation law;
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills;
Ability to work in a team and motivation to work in an interdisciplinary team;
Independent and structured way of working;
Good organisational skills.

Good IT skills (at least MS Office) required.

Desirable qualifications are: Knowledge of university processes and structures; Basic experience in research methods and academic writing.
