Duties and Responsibilities:
We seek motivated interns to support the work of the Staffing, Diversity and Outreach Section (SDOS) of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) / United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). You will take up assignments with the Human Resources Management Section (HRMS) to support wide number of diversity and communication initiatives. Our interns report to full-time staff and will be assigned to at least one workstream: Work Stream 1: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Support with and take responsibility according to your capacity on - Development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives in the field of Gender Equality, Geographical Diversity, Disability Inclusion and other diversity dimensions - Creating content for internal communication to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in UNOV/UNODC - Planning and delivery of events to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in UNOV/UNODC Work Stream 2: HR Communications (Employer Branding) Assist in organizing and coordinating key events, including helping with logistics, preparations, and liaising with internal teams under supervision. - Support wide variety of employer branding initiatives, such as generating digital content for internal and external websites, social media platforms, creation of event flyers and save-the-date notices;
- Assist monitoring, research, and analysis aligned with Staffing Team activities and priorities;
- Support in-person and virtual outreach events by compiling, processing, and visualizing information in a collaborative setting;
