**About the job**
In the role of a Sales Manager for Minerals, you will report to the Head of Minerals Sales EU/CIS. Your focus will lie on maintaining a cooperative relationship with our customers within the raw materials market. While attending to our customers’ needs as a primary point of contact, you will obtain orders from existing, as well as potential markets. Therefore, it is important that you have a customer-centric attitude supported by a strong technical and commercial background. You organize your everyday tasks independently and you complete your daily goals efficiently. You should understand the unique demands of each of our clients and present them with tailor-made solutions. In this position, you will also see through the entire sales process from offer to cash with the support of a qualified team. During work you will be traveling (inter)nationally approx. 50% of the time.
**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Sales forecasting and demand planning, as well as management of receivables
- Conducting price and contract negotiations
- Preparing quotes based on pricing strategies (in alignment with RHI Magnesita’s commercial management standards)
- Analyzing and developing new market opportunities
- Travelling to relevant trade fairs

You are a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude. **What we expect from you in terms of**
**Education and Knowledge**
- University graduate - technical or engineering background (preferably in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineralogy, Geology, or similar) is desired, but not mandatory
- Profound knowledge of the refractory and the MgO industry
**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- Any other language will be considered an asset
**Work Experience**
- Several years of relevant working experience
