The Department of Communication of the University of Vienna, a subunit of the Faculty of Social Sciences, announces

**Duration of employment**: 3 year/s

Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

**Profile**:

- Completed MA or Magister studies in communication or related fields
- Competence in quantitative communication and media effects research or related fields
- Knowledge of methods of empirical social research, especially quantitative methods and statistical data analysis
- Interest in international research orientation
- High computer literacy
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work in teams

Desirable qualifications are
- Knowledge of university processes and structures
- Knowledge in Computational Science Methods (particularly, hands-on experience with automated content analysis)
- Hungarian, Swedish, and/or French language skills
