The Department of Commercial and Business Law is looking for a research assistant (prae doc) with interest in business and corporate law to support research and teaching. The department of Commercial and Business Law is part of the Vienna Law School. The function of the department is research and teaching in the field of commercial and business law. - Place of Work: Faculty of Law, Department of Commercial and Business Law (Univ.Prof. Dr. Ulrich Torggler, LL.M.), Schottenbastei 10-16, 1010 Wien.
The announcement is made for three years, whereby the employment relationship is initially limited to 1.5 years and is automatically extended to a total of three years, unless the employer submits a declaration of non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months. An extension to 4 years is possible with probation and corresponding work progress.

The position is vacant for the period of absence of a member of staff.
**Duration of employment**: 3 year/s
**Extent of Employment**: 30 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
**Profile**:
Master's degree in Law or business law (diploma or equivalent, e.g. LL.M. [WU]) - Interest in business and corporate law and intention for doctoral thesis in these fields - Excellent academic success in your studies, especially in the field of Commercial and Private Law - Excellent IT user skills (MS-Office) - experience with databases - Excellent command of written and spoken English - Excellent command of written and spoken German
High verbal and written skills - Good didactic skills - Teamwork skills - Advantageous: Experience in the field of university; (Business) Economics Studies or Studies abroad
