This specific internship is suitable for students within a master degree program in Communications Engineering, (Digital) Signal Processing, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or related technical field Infineon Power & Sensor Systems (PSS) delivers future-oriented solutions to provide cutting-edge data transport and to make tools and systems smarter, smaller, lighter and more energy-efficient. In your new role you will:

- Explore the field of **RF **and **mmWave signals **for **wireline **and **wireless communiction systems **for point-to-point transfer
- Learn and gain experience with existing **FPGA prototyping platforms **(RF-SoC) to develop **high data rate signal processing algorithms **and interfaces to RF transceivers
- Implement **baseband signal processing blocks **on an **FPGA **to support ammWave links, gaining valuable experience in communications engineering and digital design
- Participate in and contribute to the construction of **system demonstrators **with international partners and universities

**Further Information**

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed bachelor and master student from the field **Physics **, **Communications Engineering, (Digital) Signal Processing, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology **, or related technical field. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

- **Motivated **and eager to **gain experience **and **knowledge **at the **convergence point of different technical areas**:

- Fluent in **English **, with knowledge of German as an advantage
