**Project Overview**:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

**What you bring**:

- Assists in development, coordination and implementation of the HSE Hazard Learning School development training whereby training participants gain a thorough understanding of the need to anticipate and recognise hazards, the risks of exposure and strategies for self-awareness
- Develops, coordinates and implements the Craft Professional Peer on Peer (PoP) Leadership program with on the job training as well as on-site courses and programs
- Develops or obtains training manuals and instructional materials as required.
- Conducts or facilitates training courses and programs. Arranges for technical assistance as required.
- Administers and monitors the Hazard Learning School and Craft Professional PoP Leadership program to ensure goals are attained, schedules are met, modifications are made as necessary and reporting requirements are observed.
- Ensures that a comprehensive training records system is established and maintained.
- Promote and encourage a learning culture within the Pluto 2 Project
- Work closely and efficiently with all other departments, e.g., Human Resources and sub-contractor training departments
- Liaise and negotiate with external training providers as required.
- Ensure requirements for refresher and specialized training are tracked and implemented and maintain a training calendar
- Supports projects with specialized training requests.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and One Drive tools.
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Highly proficient trainer and facilitator of adult learning and assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and present effective oral and written reports.
- Demonstrated experience in the identification of training needs and coordination of training delivery.
- Experience, understanding and implementation of People-Based Safety Programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Training Lead or HSE Manager

**About you**:

- Degree or Graduate Diploma in Safety and Health or Hazard Management is preferred
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (TAE40116)
- Experience in development, presentation, and assessment of HSE education and training plans/packages on large construction projects required
- Strong knowledge of Western Australia Workplace Health and Safety laws and regulations and industry standards.
- Experience and qualification/certification regarding Train the Trainer preferred
- Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment
- General Construction Safety Induction (White Card)

This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.

- The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products - i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices - i.e. wireless headphones, iPads, smart watches - are also not permitted on site._
