Group Commercial Real Estate (“GCRE”) is a core business of Erste Group and focuses on financing the acquisition and modernization of commercial real estate and residential infrastructure in our core region. The sales unit "Hotels and Tourism" focuses on the financing of hotels in our core markets. Moreover, this unit composed of approx. 7 team members is responsible for the existing hotel financing portfolio in Erste Group Bank AG (“Erste Group”) and supports, coordinates and drives all activities in this regard within Erste Group. This means, in addition to its own financing transactions, this unit also supports with know-how and acts as advisor for our client executives in different countries. The Head of Hotels & Tourism is responsible for managing all client-related activities along the value chain for clients and takes the full responsibility for leadership and business performance of the defined sales unit.

**Your Tasks**:

- Define a detailed coverage strategy and target clientele for Hotel & Tourism as well as student housing in Austria and CEE taking into account contemporary developments (e.g. ESG, Digitalization etc.)
- Support the continuous development of financing solutions, products, services and new business developments for hotel, tourism and student housing customers
- Act as the central point of contact for target clients and be in regular contact with these
- Support the definition and implementation of Erste Group’s overall hotel & tourism business strategy
- Be responsible for the relevant pouvoir of this B-3 position and be actively involved in the decisions about new transaction screening and credit approvals
- Lead, foster, motivate and develop your responsible team members
- Represent Erste Group at external events as speaker or participant

**Your Background**:

- University degree in business administration, law or a quantitative field
- Minimum 5 years experience in real estate financing (relationship management, risk, valuation, restructuring or related functions)
- Profound understanding of the international hotel industry (investors, operators and brands, business models and fundamentals, city and resort hotels, trends and developments, etc.) and European hotel markets, especially in CEE (city and leisure destinations, supply and demand structures, market performance, etc.)
- Know how to deal with clients (real estate developers, real estate funds and investors of all kinds) and are able to establish a long lasting successful relationship with them
- Are able to identify business opportunities on the market and are willing to campaign for it in order to get the deal done
- Have an open, clear, valued and professional style of communication with clients, colleagues and market participants
- Ability to deal with diverse teams and entities across the CEE region
- Excellent relationship skills with clients and internal units and experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with getting-things-done attitude
- German and English language skills at expert level, CEE language is a plus
