ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
**Purpose of the role**:
To work closely with the IS Manager to provide timely and professional systems support to users, and to maintain a fit-for-purpose and secure technical operating environment

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide responsive and customer-focused support (L1, L2 and L3) to all users within the organization, on both software and hardware levels
- Daily monitoring and management of all IT security systems
- Reporting and documentation to ensure compliance with security policies
- Execute software deployment for all staff, within a multi-office and international environment
- Conduct regular maintenance, updating and management for IT equipment in use (VoIP systems, printers, copiers, surveillance systems, workstations, etc.)
- Implement changes to network equipment in coordination with Information Systems Manager
- Along with the Information Systems Manager, ensure the correct and secure operation and monitoring of infrastructure and systems (Microsoft AD, Manage Engine, IIS, Exchange 2016, etc.)
- Maintain and update the organization’s IT asset inventory in accordance to strict organizational standards
- Handle/configure network backups within the organization (Veritas)
- Provide back up support to the organization in the planned or unplanned absence of the Information Systems Manager
- Any other ad-hoc duties and projects as organizational needs dictate

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

- IT education or 1-5 years of work experience in the IT field
- Proven hands on expertise, including but not limited to MS Exchange, VPN, DLP, Active Directory, endpoint security
- Demonstrated capacity to exceed in a multinational organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to help identify key relationships and to maintain them
- Executes projects on time and with high quality with limited supervision
- Quickly identifies, develops and maintains critical relationships across multiple departments and geographies
- Demonstrates absolute professionalism and discretion in respect of confidential information
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple, conflicting priorities
- Willing to travel internationally
- Has good judgment - knows when it is appropriate to escalate
- Fluent English, German is a plus

All applicants should have the legal right to live and work in Austria. Compensation for this position is minimum €2550 for 35.25 hours per week.
