Job Description**
Working as part of an Artificial Intelligence squad, you will partner with Data Scientists and Engineers to develop and release new AI solutions for our five business units at speed and scale. You **will act as a bridge between business and the technical team with a responsibility to understand the business demands and translate these needs into requests the AI squad can process.**
**More specifically, you will**:
- Act as a bridge between business and Data Scientists;
- Explore the needs from the business and translate identified use cases into technical data-related requirements useable by Data Scientists and Engineers;
- Ensure quality of selected use cases in terms of feasibility, usefulness and business impact;
- Guiding the Data Scientists and Data Engineers regarding the associated business view;
- Regularly communicate the progress towards business in an understandable way for non tech-people;
- Demonstrate the value of achieved results towards the business in an understandable way for non tech-people;
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, development, implementation, test and deployment;
- Work with the company validation
- and agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continuous improvement;
- Actively contribute to the squad rituals such as planning meetings, standups, and retrospects.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience;
- 5+ years of experience in data-centric business environment, ideally with exposure to business development or product management;
- Ability to identify sources of value from data analytics across core business domains;
- Understanding of data science, engineering and machine-learning principles to be able to discuss business needs and challenge the progress and outcome;
- Understanding of the potential and limitations of AI and being able to explain those to non technical people;
- Fluent in English. Other languages are a benefit.
Additional Information**
This position will be based at our Emerging Tech Centre in Graz.
