**Your future tasks**:
Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:

- Developing and strengthening the independent research profile
- Involvement in research projects/research studies
- International publications and presentations
- Preparing/writing a (publication-ready) habilitation thesis
- Independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Supervision of students
- Involvement in service and maintenance of scientific equipment, e.g. gloveboxes, and analytical instruments, e.g. GC, GC-MS, HPLC, GPC.
- Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance
- Involvement in the department administration as well as in teaching and research administration

**This is part of your personality**:

- PhD in Chemistry
- Extensive publications in inorganic and organometallic chemistry.
- Experience in organic synthesis and in the synthesis and characterization (IR & NMR spectroscopy, MS, XRD, EA) of homogeneous organometallic compounds, including experience in working under an inert atmosphere (Schlenk line, glovebox).
- Experience in the implementation of catalytic studies (optimization of reaction conditions, kinetic and mechanistic studies) and computational studies of transition metal complexes.
- Enthusiasm for learning more
- Strong communication, data presentation, and visualization skills. Therefore, English is required (Level Cl) and German is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and handle several concurrent, fast-paced projects.
- Teaching experience
- Experience working on research projects
- International presentation experience

Desirable qualifications are:

- Knowledge of university processes and structures
- Experience abroad
- Experience of supervising students
- Experience in the service and maintenance of scientific equipment and instruments
