DevOps Team Lead

As the DevOps Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing a stable, secure, and reliable Linux infrastructure for both internal systems and customers. You will lead a team of two automation engineers to develop, operate, and maintain automation of a scalable SaaS and deployed environment. You will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure and Development teams internationally and be involved in technical project work as a tech lead.
**Responsibilities**:
DevOps Team Lead
As the DevOps Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing a stable, secure, and reliable Linux infrastructure for both internal systems and customers. You will lead a team of two automation engineers to develop, operate, and maintain automation of a scalable SaaS and deployed environment. You will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure and Development teams internationally and be involved in technical project work as a tech lead.
**Responsibilities**:- Use Infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate environment builds- Automate work away- Develop, design, and establish a DevOps methodology (CI/CD, versioning, customer repositories)- Lead a team of two automation engineers, mentoring, coaching and be the point of call for that team- Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure and Development teams internationally- Be involved in technical project work as a tech lead
Skills and Experience- Advanced experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower- Profound knowledge of Linux operating systems- Experience with Security compliance standard ISO27001 ideal- Advanced experience in working with virtualization solutions - Ideally Proxmox but other providers are excepted
- KVM, VMware- Good knowledge of and experience in developing CI/CD solutions- Python scripting skills- Firewalls and APIs- MongoDB, MariaDB skills- Experience at being a team lead or similar role- Previous experience in automation architecture

- An inquisitive nature, excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills- Working with a DevOps and SRE mindset- Understanding of CI/CD systems- Collaborative, team player with a positive attitude- Able to constructively discuss and persuade the improvements in technology and processes, suggesting both strategic and tactical improvements- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
