As team lead in the Algotrading cluster you have the opportunity to shape the future of our algorithmic Energy Trading solution, the autoTrader. You and your fellow team lead have management responsibility for your engineering teams which includes coaching, personal development plans and much more. As a team leader you will be able to get involved on the technical side as well. We use Python and C# among other technologies. So good programming and testing skills are essential in this role.

You are supported by Agile Coaches and a Community of Practice where you will find our helpful attitude at play.Line-manage and lead direct reports in an agile team, including daily mentoring, coaching and performance management- Lead from the front, collaborating to create and maintain highly reliable, maintainable, scalable and performant software, automated tests and delivery pipelines- Take responsibility for the delivery of the team’s product and technical roadmaps- Provide support, guidance and training to your team, identifying opportunities for progression that benefit the individual and the company

Essential:

- You have excellent communication skills.
- You have a strong technical background in Python, Docker, mongoDB, Git, and Linux.
- Experience in developing, testing, releasing, deploying and supporting complex, modern software.
- Good understanding of automation - including testing and deployment
- A proactive attitude to improving processes, tools, methodologies, and overall quality of the product.

Desirable
_:_
- In addition to Python working knowledge of C#.
- You have working experience with CI servers. Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Trading and more specifically Energy trading know how.
