**Your future tasks**:
Your responsibilities will include:

- Workshops, training, and consulting for (early career) researchers in close collaboration with the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Vienna,
- Support entrepreneurship activities for (early career) researchers in close collaboration with the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Vienna,
- Active participation in administration and teaching (flexible and negotiable),
- Scout for partnerships with existing start-up programs, incubators, funding agencies, and relevant EU Programs,
- Help to establish a local and international network of quantum companies, start-ups, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing,
- Technology scouting to identify emerging technologies and innovations in the field of quantum science,
- Raise awareness for the innovation and entrepreneurship services of the University of Vienna,
- Support awareness raising for new innovative quantum technologies.

**This is part of your personality**:

- A Ph.D. degree in physics, engineering, or a related field, ideally with a strong quantum science and technology background.
- Previous experience and skills in technology transfer, knowledge brokerage, or related roles in academia or industry, especially in quantum technologies, are highly advantageous.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both German and English (oral and written).

**Fixed-term contract and fair salary**:The initial contract is for one year (with the potential for renewal for the duration of the project) including a basic salary of EUR 4,351.90 (14 times a year). Compensation based on your qualifications and experience can be further negotiated.
