**About the job**

With your profound Project Management skills, you will act as a generalist and “right hand” of the Head of Global Engineering & Project Execution. You will be responsible to follow-up the Project Governance for our CAPEX projects and ensure that the milestones are met as approved in the project scope. You will also participate in the further developing the CAPEX governance. As Project Portfolio Specialist you will serve as a liaison between the project team and all relevant stakeholders. In this role you will be travelling approx. 20% of your working time globally.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Regular updating of project portfolio and tracking of programs (non-financial part) to detect changes and their effects immediately, so that the appropriate measures can be initiated and involved persons are informed accordingly
- Further development of standards and guidelines
- Enforcing program/project-wide compliance with those standards, guidelines and the appropriate use of the methods and tools
- Active management of steering committees and stakeholders

You have experience in and confidence with presenting to different audiences and you are not afraid of asking critical questions and challenging your stakeholders. You have a strong focus on implementation and results. You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. With your hands-on mentality, structured approach and analytical skills, you proactively seek to improve the status quo. You see change as something positive, can adapt quickly and you like to courageously help shaping the future of RHI Magnesita.

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education**
- A higher technical education (at least HTL or equivalent) or completed technical college or university studies in a technical field (construction or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent)
- Profound Project Management Skills
- PM Certification (theoretical & practical background with at least certification IPMA level C or D or equivalent)

**Languages**

English - Proficient/Fluent

German - Advanced

**Work Experience**

1-2 years of relevant professional experience
