**About this role**:
Leading country-wide cross-functional departments with P&L responsibility, you, as Country Manager Austria, will be responsible to drive growth across your market through top-class leadership and solid entrepreneurial drive. As one of the market leaders, you will be responsible for fostering a strong local culture and driving engagement. Effective communication between local market teams and central HQ will be key.

You will report directly to the EVP of International Managing Directors (Northern Europe)

**These are some of the key ingredients to the role**:

- ** P&L Ownership**: Full P&L responsibility for Lieferando Austria (Food, Groceries, other upcoming verticals) with combined objectives of advancing growth and profitability
- ** Lead Strategy and Planning**: Develop country cross-functional plan & strategy & Lead wide range of cross-functional activities focused on building the business and a high performing team
- ** Drive Business Growth **:Create, own, and execute commercial and operational strategy, leveraging central functional expertise across Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, Legal, and Product & Tech. Work with global functions : Leverage specialists and resources from across the global company to drive value, efficiency, and business success across your market
- ** People and Culture championship **:Recruit, lead & retain a world-class team of builders & owners. Be a strong culture carrier. Unique opportunity to build & grow a team to lead the country
Build team spirit through people-management skills; ensure successful results locally and internationally
- ** Steer Performance Management **:Prioritise business optimisation and growth. Set up & monitor KPIs for restaurants, logistics, customer care, users, and staff. Leverage specialists and resources throughout the company to drive value, efficiency; thus business success across the country
- ** Be the face of JET**: Represent JET at local events and acting as a spokesperson for the company in the country

**What will you bring to the table?**:

- ** Over 10+ years experience with demonstrated success in high-performance cultures** : E.g. tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, logistics, military or a related experience
- ** Proven track record in a leadership role** : past experience GM role with P&L ownership, and experience managing large teams
- ** Strong business acumen** : Commercial, business development background within entrepreneurial and matrixed organisations
- ** Proficient problem solver** : New challenges excite you, and you’re keen to explore innovative solutions, with a data driven mindset
- ** Aspirational mindset, with strong foundations** : Able to think strategically; develop and communicate a compelling vision; but at the same time ready to get in the trenches and operate at the lowest level of detail
- ** Comfortable with ambiguity and focused on driving growth**: Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments. Confident in navigating and leading teams through periods of significant expansion

- ** Fluent in German language and English** with strong communication and presentation skills
- ** Flexibility to travel**; international travel 20-30 days annually
