**Your role at RBI**:

- Advise and support corporate financial distress situations by conducting specific and detailed financial due diligence work - collaborating here with numerous stakeholders, incl. external consultants, lawyers and other financing partners. This includes
- in-depth analysis of a customer's business model and financial and liquidity standing with a view to identify operational and financial key issues
- the creation and maintenance of detailed financial due diligence models and building on that the development of effective risk mitigation strategies/recovery scenarios in the restructuring process with a view to rehabilitate clients and minimize losses for the bank,
- continuous assessment of the bank's risk and collateral position of distressed loan situations, thus including also the assessment of individual loan loss provisions
- Furthermore engage in monitoring, reporting and supporting early risk prevention schemes
- Drive innovation in workout processes and structures through digital transformation and data literature and actively engage in cross-functional projects aligned with the Strategic Risk Roadmap
- Stay current with regulatory developments impacting NPEs and risk cost management and support in the management of workout-related stakeholder requests, including management, regulators, and auditors

***Your core competencies**:

- University degree in business administration / economics and business/ banking and finance / legal or similar and extensive lending experience in Corporate Banking or Risk/Workout (at least 3-5 years of restructuring experience)
- Excellent analytical, advanced corporate finance and financial modelling skills are essential, as well as an ability to undertake accurate and relevant financial analysis and to interrogate and validate financial projections.
- Knowledge of NPE regulatory requirements combined with solid corporate finance know-how, in-depth knowledge of banking products and their life-cycle
- You have a high level of proactivity & demonstrate experience in taking ownership to resolve issues, drive for the best-possible result and have a “Thinking out of the box”-attitude
- German mother tongue; English communication & negotiation and presentation skills are profound
