You can learn more about the world of OMV below: **Our business** **Your role**: - Point of legal accountability (incl. negotiation lead and autonomous management) for international M&A transactions (acquisitions, divestments, related restructurings) for the entire OMV Group (all business fields) on a worldwide basis (incl. Petrom) - Under supervision of the Head of M&A Legal: structuring, negotiation, management and professional implementation of M&A transactions with a material degree of decision authority with respect to the following main tasks - Manages and negotiates M&A transactions on behalf of OMV with external counterparts - Proactively minimizes OMV Group risk exposure by detection of high impact M&A risks/liabilities and identification of proper remediation of such risks/liabilities - Maximizes and ensures delivery of transaction value for OMV group by negotiating and securing proper transaction documentation in line with best international practice - Contributes to achievement of OMV group/divisional strategy - Prepares reports to Executive Board and Supervisory Board on material value - and risk items as basis for proper decision taking and proposes/executes mitigation and remediation strategies in line with the Executive Board requirements - Conducts and manages M&A related litigation/arbitration cases in a solution - and results-orientated manner - Pursues and facilitates M&A related approvals from state authorities (e.g. European Commission, host governments) - Contributes to proper internal and external communication (press releases, ad hocs) - Leads external advisors, manages involvement and support from relevant OMV departments/divisions in relation to the above key responsibilities **Your profile**: - University Degree / Masters in M&A and Corporate Law - Professional Experience minimum 8 years - Bar exam desired, but not required - 5 years M&A and project experience in a renowned international law firm or legal department of a big international company - Verifiable project track record - Strong negotiation, project management and conflict resolution skills - High Problem solving competence and results-orientation and good business judgement - "Hands-on" personality bringing great sense pf responsibility/reliability, high level of commitment. dedication and social intelligence **What to expect from OMV**: - We believe that we can only evolve and thrive as a company with a highly diverse mix of employees and by ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
