Your Responsibilities

As part of our Communications team, you will be responsible for creating and producing - also in cooperation with external partners - multimedia content for print and digital. The focus is on videography, graphics design, and the establishment of a versatile multimedia room on campus.
- Institute-wide contact person for image editing, videography, graphical design, illustration, animation, audio, and photography
- Production of visual, audio, and video content for Communications and the ISTA community
- Independent conception, design, creation, and advancement of audiovisual formats
- Planning and managing external production of content, both print and digital
- Project management: establishment and supervision of a newly emerging multimedia room on campus
- Developing and advancing the visual identity of ISTA’s communication channels in accordance with the ISTA branding
- Particular synchronization of multimedia projects with the VISTA Science Experience and xista innovation teams

Your Profile
- Completed education in relevant creative disciplines such as videography, graphical design, editing, or other related technical fields
- Proven experience in content production (video, graphics, audio)
- Reliable handling of AV equipment up to the level of supporting others in using it (camera, microphone, light, sound,)
- Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Storytelling, visual and/or written, for audiovisual productions (e.g. storyboards, scripts, infographics)
- Attentiveness to usage and copyrights as well as AI-generated production opportunities
- High affinity for science and research
- Excellent command of English and at least basic understanding of German (for layouts, subtitling, etc.)
- A sense for design and aesthetics paired with a curious mindset that desires to explore new things
- Structured approach to projects and an eye for details
- High degree of service orientation, team spirit, and hands-on mentality
