## **Job Description** - Accelerate your career with the opportunity to work with national and global clients across all industry sectors - Join a leading, global organization with long-term career opportunities - Gain experience working with experienced insurance and risk due diligence professionals and brokers on Australian based M&A transactions with a global reach - Full time permanent opportunity (Sydney preferred but other locations considered) This is an exceptional opportunity to join a global leader, leveraging the strong brand to generate activity and to take on the responsibility for growth in a key market segment. **Client Insurance Executive – Risk & Insurance Due Diligence** We are seeking a Client Insurance Executive - Transactional Advisory practice within the Aon Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions global practice. Our team specialises in the provision of Insurance and Risk Advisory Services to the Merger and Acquisition community including Private Equity, Fund Managers, Investment Banks, Financiers, Large Private and ASX listed businesses, as well as to stakeholders involved in major development/construction projects. **Aon is in the business of better decisions** At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed. **What the day will look like** You will work within a highly engaged team to jointly deliver risk and insurance advisory projects. This will include business development, project delivery and supporting the implementation of new insurance programs. To be successful in this role you will have either worked on global and/or corporate accounts or been involved in delivering insurance advisory services. The purpose of this role is to support Project Managers and develop skills to deliver your own projects. You will be responsible for: - Jointly preparing, managing and delivering risk and insurance advisory projects; - Providing day-to-day support to the current Project Managers within the Due Diligence Team; - Coaching and mentoring junior due diligence team members; - Undertaking healthchecks of current insurance programs and analysing key contractual agreements from an insurance perspective; - Providing insurance related mergers and acquisitions advice and insights to clients and deal parties; - Working directly with private equity or corporate clients as well as their other outside advisors which typically include financial and legal experts; - Building internal relationships and the co-ordination of specialist advice and services provided by other Aon practices; - Liaising with internal Aon teams to implement insurance programs arising from the teams’ advisory services; - Supporting business development activities including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for potential new projects; and - Building your relationships with private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, and financial institutions with an aim of leveraging these into future business opportunities. **How this opportunity is different** As an Aon colleague, you will never be limited by your job title. Be you, be unique with us. **Skills and experience that will lead to success** - Experience in insurance broking and account management for corporate and/or global accounts - Delivering superior client service by being responsive and available to meet clients’ demands; - Collegiate attitude and have good communication and relationship building skills; - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Highly organised and strong attention to detail in analysing information; - Experience working in a deadline driven work environment; - Interest in learning about Merger and Acquisition (M&A) and insurance and risk advisory due diligence processes; - Degree in Commerce, Economics, Law or related field - Tier 1 or Diploma qualification - Proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point
