As a Finance Analyst within the Market Unit (MU) FP&A team, you are responsible for the budgeting, reporting and analysis of the Corporate Functions cost base. Critical in this role will be establishing trusted relationships with your stakeholders in FP&A and partners across various Functions, understanding your function and the key financial drivers to deliver insightful reporting, forecasting, and assisting with the preparation and delivery of the annual operating plan. **How will I help?** - Manage month end reporting close, delivering true and accurate financial results – includes preparation of month end journals, variance analysis and investigative enquiries to understand underlying cost drivers - Prepare monthly executive reporting submissions – includes variance commentary, rolling forecast, risks and opportunities - Support the delivery of forecast and annual operating plan as part of the 3-year annual planning process - includes leading the collation, analysis and providing information to support throughout preparation process - Provide ad-hoc information, analysis and value-added insights to support decision making - either as requested, or of your own cognisance from having identified an opportunity - Build and maintain trusted relationships and create successful partnerships with your stakeholders, developing a good understanding of your function and the key financial drivers to improve quality of value added insights - Continuously identify areas for improvement - such as processes, or ways presenting information – and assist with the design and implementation of improved changes
