**Job Description** Our IT Auditing team is made up of audit focused people who are all pivotal to the successful delivery of our IT External/Internal Audit engagements. We are dedicated to support the evaluation of our audit clients' IT control environment. The team draws on a diverse and dedicated group of people, powerful KPMG methodologies, innovating capability and assets, and global resources to support our clients in achieving the right milestones. Risk Consulting is a growing business that focuses on helping our clients understand, manage, and oversee their risks, including conduct and regulatory change. **Your Opportunity** As a Senior Consultant in the IT Audit team, you will play a key role in: - Delivering a variety of Technology Risk assurance and advisory projects, including internal audit, external audit, attestation and first & second line technology risk advisory. - Developing, coaching and mentoring team members, providing stretch assignments to advance their capability. - Providing technical knowledge, direction and training to engagement team members. - Supporting engagement managers in the overall project management of engagements as well as the preparation of clear and concise reports to IT management and CIO’s. **How are you extraordinary?** - You have a detailed understanding of risk and controls and are able to evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of IT controls on core business processes. - You enjoy marrying your strong analytical skills with fantastic technical communication skills to write detailed and accurate reports.  - You are able to digest, distil, and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms. - You are resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you will be supported to use your initiative to work through competing priorities. - You enjoy working in the details, with a proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines. **Your Experience** At KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients, and communities. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: - Background in external/internal audit and/or risk (ideally with a professional services firm) with a minimum of 2 years' experience. US-SOX accreditation is desirable. - Have gained strong technology risk and controls knowledge. - Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. - Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of clients and internal stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and share expertise with team members to strengthen capability. - A tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Information Systems, Commerce or other), CA or CISA equivalent or ability to obtain a CA or CISA.
