This role reports to the Team leader, Direct lending. - **How you will spend your time**The Home Lending Specialist will be responsible for Home Loan origination through the direct channel - Part of a high performing sales team you will be responsible for supporting, assessing, servicing and verifying all necessary customer information for each application, before submitting to the Lending Operations and Credit team for assessment. - Assist customer in identifying suitable home loan products that align with their financial needs and goals. - Contacting pre-qualified customers by phone to provide help at various stages of the online application process - Ensure adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements. - Communicate potential risks to ensure compliance. - Working closely with our Lending operations team to fulfil home loans - Any other duties as required. - Building and maintaining strong relationship with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. - **What makes you tick**You are customer obsessed - You love to drive business growth and are skilled at customer acquisition - You thrive in fast paced, ever changing working environments - You communicate openly, quickly, transparently and clearly - You can effectively manage change, and assess the impact of change on requirements and impact on delivery - You can manage conflicting priorities quickly and effectively - You can easily adapt to a changing environment, and maintain a high level of personal resiliency - You can create clarity out of ambiguity to deliver outcomes - You want to work in an innovative environment backed by one of Australia’s largest banks - You can demonstrate highly developed relationships building skills. **   ** - **What you will bring**3+ years of experience in similar home lending roles. - Demonstrated excellence of business growth through exceptional customer service and deep understanding of the mortgage lending landscape. - Highly skilled at managing a new customer pipeline - A well-developed knowledge of home lending scenarios and current responsible lending obligations. - Effective communication skills, both written and oral - Team player skills - Attention to detail, with strong organisation and problem-solving skills. - Working knowledge of Windows (Word, Excel) programs - ** Why ubank?**Hybrid working model - with 3 days in our central Sydney CBD office located above Wynyard station. - Highly collaborative and positive culture - Strong internal development & growth opportunities - + other fantastic benefits to support    - **Our Values**Delight the Customer - We put the customer’s best interests at the forefront of everything we do.
