For more than 25 years Vanguard Australia has been supporting individual investors, financial advisers, and superannuation Our team & Opportunity As part of our Financial Adviser Services (FAS) team, FAS are dedicated to supporting our client’s investment decision making process and connecting them to Vanguard's broad suite of investment products, tools and services. We do this through our experienced team which sits across Regional Sales Executives, Sales Specialists, Adviser Offer, and Sales Enablement As the Sales Executive, you will identify, build, and develop new business opportunities for Vanguard, as well as the assistance of ongoing retention of key accounts and continue to develops sales skills and product knowledge whilst covering a smaller or less complex prospects and/or accounts independently, additionally, you will assist more senior sales executives and managers with larger and complex prospects and/or accounts. **Duties and responsibilities** - Contribute and support the development of panel strategy and activity with panel partners to increase NCF and maintain assets across all intermediary segments based on segmentation model to grow share of wallet.  - Promote Vanguard’s portfolio construction philosophy, investment beliefs and products to financial advisers. - Drive own pipeline and panel management to increase sales velocity. - Identify new opportunities and establishes relationships with new Vanguard clients. - Joint management of larger clients who have a preference for predominately virtual servicing with senior sales crew. - Collaborates with other panels on relevant sales opportunities to leverage insights and successes. - Implement sales philosophy, methodology and behaviours framework to know our clients deeply and increase sales efficiency and effectiveness. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e., Marketing, ISG, and Product to obtain support to deliver on client requirements. - Partner with senior sales and leaders to develop expertise of the market and competitive environments to help position Vanguard's services appropriately. - Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.    **Specialisations that will make an impact: ** - Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. - Minimum of 5 years client contact or sales experience is preferred. - Completion of RG146. - Experience in web and phone based sales essential. - Proven ability to successfully develop strong working relationships. - Solid technical and product knowledge fund management offerings. Solid knowledge of the intermediary competitive environment. - Clear, confident and persuasive presentation and communication style. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Special Factors - Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.
