Job Description **Now, about this role** Day to day, you will work with the credit models team to deliver intelligent insights and risk management solutions to enhance the organisation’s overall risk quantification and management framework, supporting Judo in delivering exceptional outcomes for its customers. You will proactively contribute to the ongoing refinement and enhancement of Judo’s enterprise-wide strategies, processes, and systems, while embracing Judo’s culture and positively influencing its evolution. **If that excited you, then this just might be your dream job:** - Conduct data analysis to monitor, measure, and manage model risks, ensuring alignment with development and implementation best practices. - Perform detailed reviews and monitoring of credit models under regulatory capital, provisioning frameworks, and internal frameworks, incorporating feedback into model development and updates. - Leverage your knowledge in credit portfolios and model methodologies to support the development, enhancement, and monitoring of credit models while managing associated risks. - Contribute to the development of action plans to resolve model findings and participate in re-designing processes to improve model development, management, and monitoring practices. - Collaborate effectively with your team, model developers, and model validators to ensure deadlines are met and model development tasks are executed seamlessly. Desired Skills and Experience **Your life pre-Judo:** - Hold a degree in a relevant field such as Actuarial Studies, Computer Science, Economics/Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, or Statistics, with a focus on model development or quantitative analysis. - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to problem-solve and effectively collaborate with stakeholders involved in model development and validation. - Demonstrate experience (academic or professional) in the end-to-end research and model development process, including coding, building models, reporting results, and comprehensive documentation. - Prior experience in coding with R and/or Python, with an added advantage if skilled in presenting insights via Power BI dashboards. - Prior experience in credit model development, monitoring, or validation as a valuable asset. - Australian working rights. **At Judo, our culture sets us apart:** **Our Values:** - Accountability: Make decisions and own them.
